IndyCar Series: Tony Kanaan, Alex Lloyd, Marco Andretti, Will Power, Graham Rahal, and Hideki Mutoh.

Sprint Cup: Sam Hornish Jr., Dario Franchitti (come home, Dario!)

Indy Lights: Antinucci!
Favorite Sports:
Motorsport! Soccer's alright too, and I also like Football (GO PATS!)
What I'm Listening to:
You name it, I've probably heard it.
What I'm Watching:
Scrubs, Reno 911, and music channels.
A Good Read:
unless it's for school, I usually stay away from books. Not patient enough to read page after page... If I had to reccommend one, the Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger is a GREAT book to read. It helped me find a lot out about myself.
About Me:
I'm 17, I live in Florida, and I'm a huge racing fan. I will stay up into the dead of the night to watch an F1 race, likewise I will also get up at the crack of dawn to catch the GP2 Feature. I also do a little racing of my own. I'm very partial to road courses... the technical driving and quick reactions are what get me going. You can put me on an oval track in sufficient equipment, and I'll do just as well as any of the other guys that are running in the same stuff. In my free time, I like to go out and catch movies, or attend whatever races are nearby. So far in the 2008 racing season I've been to several events including the 24 hours of Daytona, the Homestead Indy 300, the St. Pete GP, and the Indy 500. I'm currently looking at going to the Coke Zero 400, the Kentucky Indy 300, and the Chicagoland Indy 300, but nothing is set in stone for those events yet.

I'm a relatively quiet guy away from the track, especially when I first meet people. I don't take too long to open up though. I get frustrated easily when I'm left in the dark, and I REALLY don't like it when people say one thing and do another. I'd give everything I've got for a one-way plane ticket back to Rhode Island and some direction in my education, not to mention that elusive muscular build I've been hunting for.

If you want to know anything else, feel free to add my myspace page @ www.myspace.com/gerry_b . I check it all the time and I'll talk about anything with you as long as it's something that we can keep running! Ask me anything, I'm an open book.
What are you doing right now:
Right now I'm job-hunting.
All Time Hero:
Tony Kanaan. His story is one of a man who battled back from adversity to become who he is today. He's an amazing driver, and I really think that he is going to win the Indy 500 someday.

In His Own Words

From Trackside Online:

Marco Andretti: It's easy to get down on the season we had, especially with the way it ended in Homestead, but it's over with and we can't go back. So that leaves us with having to find the good and learn from where we've been.

We didn't win races, but out of 17 starts we had 11 top-10 finishes. We finished eighth in the points - still inside the top 10. It wasn't a great season, but made we progress throughout the year.

It was a frustrating season, for sure, and it was… Continue

Motor oil runs in Andretti family's veins

Original article here

At the Andretti family resort, the members of a clan synonymous with speed enjoy no end of high-revving recreational choices.

There's a circa-1971 racing boat that Mario Andretti, the patriarch and motor-racing legend, has clocked at a top speed of 210 km/h. There are four-wheel off-road vehicles, motocross racers and jet-skis, a water-skiing boat and more.

And when winter falls… Continue

Teammates Andretti, Patrick insist they're at peace despite rumours

The Canadian Press-By John Kekis

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — Marco Andretti smiled at the question.

Sure, there might have been a few hard feelings aimed at Andretti Green Racing teammate Danica Patrick after Saturday night's race at Texas Motor Speedway, but they already were forgotten.

"I just said what I was feeling," Andretti said Tuesday during a break in IndyCar testing at Watkins Glen International. "I was frustrated. But we talked it out. It's not the first time it's happened and it's… Continue

Marco Andretti tries to avoid another close shave at Texas Motor Speedway

By RAY BUCK rbuck@star-telegram.com

The Andretti name opens a lot of garage doors.

The latest benefactor is 22-year-old Marco Andretti, carrying the family baton now in his fourth year of IndyCar Racing.

Marco brings to open-wheel racing a familiar name and a fresh face ... uh, a Gillette Fusion-smooth face, if you believe the latest TV commercials in which he appears.

The 30-second spot was originally produced for Russian and Canadian market distribution, but has since taken a circui… Continue
