- About Me:
- My name is Megan Marie Martin and I'm 22 years old. I am a recent college graduate from Purdue University North Central in Westville, Indiana. I have Bachelor of Arts Degree. I recently received my teaching license, so now all I have to do is find a job. Also, I have brown hair and hazel eyes. And I am quite short at only 5'4".
I come from a racing family. Various members of my family have done a bit of racing in one way or another, but the member of my family who has done actual professional racing and had some success with it is my uncle Tom Martin. In the late 80s to the early 90s he had a lot of success as a mud racer in the USHRA with his vehicles being known as "Mud Patrol" and "Super Trooper." He won 6 world championships and had over 70 national wins by the end of his racing career. I was so young when he had his racing career, but I can still remember one race when I was about four or five. I remember watching him race through the mud and I can still see the smile on my grandmother's face as she watched her youngest son claim victory. I loved going to his races as kid; I loved watching the mud fly in the air and I loved hearing the sound of the engines as they revved up.

- All Time Hero:
- My heroes are my family and friends. Also, anyone who is a teacher or who is going to be because I don't care what anyone else says, but I think it's the hardest job imaginable. Also, as I think about who my heroes are I find myself thinking of one person: my friend Rachel Haner. She passed away in March of 2007 at the age of 19 after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. I would consider her my hero because even though she was battling this terminal illness and even had to come to school dragging an oxygen tank behind her she always had a smile on her face.

Marco Andretti: It's easy to get down on the season we had, especially with the way it ended in Homestead, but it's over with and we can't go back. So that leaves us with having to find the good and learn from where we've been.
We didn't win races, but out of 17 starts we had 11 top-10 finishes. We finished eighth in the points - still inside the top 10. It wasn't a great season, but made we progress throughout the year.
